• Geri Stengel is president of Ventureneer. Her company specializes in defining and eliminating problems that hold underestimated entrepreneurs back, especially people of color and women. Ventureneer’s quantitative and qualitative research raises awareness of greater challenges these entrepreneurs face and actions that will help them overcome obstacles.

    For the last few years, Geri and her company, Ventureneer, have researched, written, educated, and advocated about the challenges and successes women face in the entrepreneurial business world. Clients have included American Express, Dell, How Women Invest, IFundWomen, QuickBooks, National Women's Business Council, Northwestern Mutual, New York City Economic Development, New York City Small Business Services, Wells Fargo, and Worthy Financial. Her company co-produced the Wells Fargo Impact of Women-Owned Businesses.

    Geri is best known as a contributor for Forbes, where she writes about women entrepreneurs' success factors. She is a former WE NYC mentor, former board member for the New York City Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, and past recipient of the Madam C.J Walker Business Leadership Award from the National Minority Business Council.
